Now i am 6 months into it, and i did't get big the big results that i hoped. I practice every single day but i only improve a little. Its really broke my heart, because i am a 18 years old boy and my whole heart love singing. I haven't any gift, the only gift i got is my passion for singing and i really have a big dream to sing in front people and impact them. I don't know what to do. I always feel that i straining, and a big problem with me is that i am really nervous and afraid. Some day i practice 6 hours even i know it did't is god for me, because i don't think that its effective. I always think about singing and the day when i can show my "new" voice to my family, friends and just everybody. But i feel that it will take my many many many years before that happen, and i just cant take that my situation its like now. Every human around me expect a great voice for me, because the know that I practice every day, but i don't think that the practice helped me in that way i expected. I always ended up frustrated, angry and sad. I focus to much on it. i am nervous. Afraid. All that kills me, the worst thing is that i wont give up, because how could i give up when my heart is in flames only because i will reach my dream to be a singer? But its really hard for me :( I still have trouble with ALL the exercises in singing success. I Have watch ALL the videos in singingsuccess.tv and i have seen ALL the reviews about singing success, I KNOW its work but why not for me? I am 6 months in it :( Its me dream... I meant it.

Oh, by the way - If I can hit a G5 in the exercises - does that mean I can develop a "chestier" sound all the way up to there?

Just dreaming?

Thanks,

Thanks man, I really needed this encouragement right now... I've been working on Brett Mannings SS course for five weeks now and I can hear definite improvements - like an octave of extra range! I've developed what I think is my "mix" on the notes E4, F4, Gb4 and G4 but it's still lacking consistency [i.e. strength] and I always need to practice with a ten or so vowels on a song before I can manage to pull it off. I do love my voice but I know it can be better. I think I will be opting for over-the-phone lessons soon.

And thanks all the same.
